Mission Statement
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at San Diego State University (SDSU) offers a vibrant and diverse learning community for adults age 50 and better, with intellectually stimulating, university-quality courses, and engaging leadership and volunteer opportunities. We offer learning opportunities that include a fascinating array of academic topics featuring outstanding instructors, award-winning authors, and artists who inspire and engage lifelong learners.
Description
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at SDSU is one of 122 unique OLLIs supported by the Bernard Osher Foundation. Established in 2004, the Osher Institute at SDSU is operated by staff from SDSU's College of Extended Studies, with support from the Osher advisory board, leadership committees, members and instructors who serve within our diverse learning community. The Osher Institute at SDSU is funded through the generous endowment support of The Bernard Osher Froundation and the Osher Institute at SDSU members' fees and contributions.
