Mission Statement

Through educational exchange we help the formerly closed Siberian city of Chita and Chita Region during this difficult transition to democracy and free market reform, and help them join the rest of the world from their long-time isolation.

Description

Kentucky office opening April 1, 2000. Musical Bridges, Inc., founded in 1993, has two main programs. We send English teachers to institutions in Chita and Chita Region, and we send teaching materials, both reading material and equipment to supplement the meager supplies of the Region's institutions. Offices in Massachusetts, Vermont and soon in Kentucky. Directions available on request. We send volunteers to Russia, and make all travel arrangements.
