The King County Library System has been named one of the top libraries in the country, receiving a five-star rating for overall excellence. The rating, the highest awarded by the Library Journal Index of Public Library Services, reflects a strong return on investment in five per-capita categories: circulation, library visits, program attendance, public internet computer use and circulation of electronic materials.
