Comitis Crisis Center (Comitis): Comitis is Aurora’s only night shelter for people experiencing homelessness. Comitis currently offers shelter support for families and single adults, as well as shelter and programming support including but not limited to: meals, showers, laundry services, a clothing donations room, and some basic storage options.

Aurora Day Resource Center (ADRC): The ADRC is the day center for Comitis. The ADRC offers daily basic needs such as food, water, showers, laundry, hygiene items, and some locker storage. ADRC staff also support guests with light case management services for those that need help with: ID’s, jobs and resumes, benefits, mental health, substance abuse, etc.

Colfax Community Network (CCN): CCN offers drop in services for families (a food bank, bus ticket, housing support, ID support, etc.) and individuals looking for ID vouchers on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 pm -12 pm. CCN also offers after school and literacy programming for elementary students in the Aurora area, as well as a summer school program for elementary school students during the summer.
