Mission Statement

This Eagle Scout project, lead by Troop 91 of Gainesville Virginia, is planning to provide the Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park with a 150 foot long boardwalk to better facilitate the local communities access to all areas of the park.

Description

With the completed construction of this boardwalk, areas of the park that typically become wetland can be accessed easily by the local community and park personnel. The boardwalk is 150 feet in length and 6 feet wide and is based off of Prince William County approved blueprints for construction. Volunteers are needed with experience with power tools and should preferably be ages 18 and up. While adults can only operate the power tools, those of ages 16 and up are required to assist with build of the boardwalk.
