Description
The Santa Clarita Optimist Foundation’s "Safety Town" camp is a five-day safety education program for children who will be entering kindergarten (ages 4 1/2 to 6 years) in the Santa Clarita Valley. In 2019, the camp will be held at West Creek Academy Elementary School in Saugus Union School District on July 15 - 19 and Jul 22 - 26, 2019. During the camp, taught by California-credentialed teachers, children learn through repetitive, interactive instructional play, essential safety skills they will use in their everyday lives - at home and at school.
