Mission Statement

Wilsonville Bicycle Events is an Oregon nonprofit organization committed to promoting economic development, health and fitness of youth and adults, and producing national-level events that elevate bicycling in the Wilsonville area.

Description

Wilsonville Bicycle Events is producing its 2nd annual Salmon Cycling Classic, an event that celebrates nature, cycling, community, and cuisine. The event is on June 29, 2019, and offers something for cycling enthusiasts of all levels: a 90K Gran Fondo, a 60K Medio Fondo, and a free 25K Family Ride.

Registration for the 60K and 90K rides includes a professionally catered Cedar Plank Salmon Feast to enjoy after crossing the finish line, a custom-designed salmon medallion (first 250 participants), and a chance to win one of several valuable prizes including Ottolocks Bicycle Locks.

This year's event highlights its featured charity, Choice Adoptions, and shows community support for the development of the French Prairie Bridge, a planned bicycle-pedestrian bridge over the Willamette in Wilsonville.
