Volunteers spend time with a terminally ill patients doing enjoyable activities - reading, talking, and engaging in a hobby. Volunteers help family members take a break to rejuvenate, go shopping, or keep appointments. Due to COVID -19 our volunteers have options to that do not involve patient contact. Creativity can play key role in helping volunteers to remain engaged in meeting patients’ needs while ensuring that social distancing measures are followed. Volunteers might establish pen pal relationships, outside window visits with patients and families or drop off personalized care packages and meaningful gifts. Seeking Office Volunteers, motivated, dependable, and task oriented persons to help in our Hospice office. Responsibilities would be filing, copying, faxing and putting packets together. Flexible hours, M-F, 8:30-5:00, you can volunteer as little as once a month or more if desired.

We are looking for a compassionate person to "Tuck-in" our patients for the weekend. In doing this you will be calling and speaking with all of our patients or caregivers checking to make sure they have enough supplies and medications go get them through the weekend. These calls need to take place every Thursday morning in order for us to have time to get the patients supplies or medications they require delivered on Friday.
