Demonstrating the power of Christ’s love to those in need as they celebrate life events.
We are a completely volunteer driven nonprofit that specializes in assisting those planning a special event with limited resources. We offer coordinating, decorating, planning assistance, and decor rental. We also have a small boutique area that offers new and gently used formal wear for purchase. We believe that by alleviating some of the financial and emotional stress that often accompanies event planning, couples can focus on building healthy families ultimately leading to healthy communities. In the almost three years of our existence we have assisted with over 200 events including weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, fundraising banquets, memorials, and the Tim Tebow Night To Shine Prom for individuals with special needs. Our clientele have been faced with circumstances such as: deployment, medical issues, family emergencies, job loss, college debt, etc.
In addition to assisting with events we are proud to have been able to partner with several local high school special education programs to offer their students valuable work experience and training prior to graduation.
Between consulting, laundering linens, packing decor, running the office, and decorating events we currently do not have the man power to have regular hours for our boutique. We also are in the final stages of restoring a neglected garden space in hopes of using it for small ceremonies and community events.
Needless to say we are always in need of dependable volunteers wanting to make a difference!
