Mission Statement

Canaan Project is a local youth work organisation based in Tower Hamlets, working exclusively with young women. We are passionate about young women's development, and want to see young women who are comfortable in their skin, in their communities and within the wider world. We run lunch time and after school provision, as well as trips, small group projects and 1:1 mentoring. We are looking for like-minded female volunteers to help us fulfil our vision by joining us to run sessions, build relationships, and be a part of our team.

Description

As a volunteer with Canaan Project, you will be required to help us set up and set down from sessions, be involved in activities such as craft, board games, cooking, attending trips such as ice skating or the theatre, and building relationships with young women as a positive role model! You will be part of a friendly and vibrant team, and we will invest in you as you invest in the young women. Due to the nature of work, all volunteers must be female.
