MS HOUSTONS CARING HANDS

Description

Our organization was established a year ago. Our goal is to decrease child abuse among our young mothers by, promoting personal growth, building self-esteem, improving problem solving skills, improve drop out rate, reduce child abuse and neglect,and provide parent support and resources. This is our first year up and running and we started out with five families and our goal is to expand our network and mentor more mothers and recruit more mentors. We also just incorporated a mentor program, which is run by Brandy Bell she is the coordinator over that program, and we also recruiting for this program. We are excited to grow our organization and welcome community involvement.
