Mission Statement

We support Oshtemo Township's community parks through public programs, volunteer coordination, and fundraising. And we need your help!

Description

Oshtemo Friends of the Parks is helping create a new community park at the historic Drake Farmstead, home of one of the area's first settlers. We are clearing out invasive trees and shrubs that invaded when farming operations ended. A picnic shelter and gravel parking lot will be built later this summer.

We also offer free outdoor concerts at Flesher Field park and programs at Oshtemo Township Park in partnership with the library.
