Description

The Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation is a 501 c.3, non-profit organization whose primary mission is "to provide cultural programming at the Long’s Park Amphitheater for the benefit of the general public, thereby enriching the quality of life in Lancaster County." This mission is manifest through the presentation, free to the public, of the "Summer Music Series " at the architecturally beautiful Long’s Park Amphitheater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This series is made possible solely through the generous support of sponsors and donors and by revenues generated by the annual Labor Day Weekend Art Festival. The 13-week Sunday evening musical performances is a part of the fabric of life in the Lancaster area and is recognized regionally by music aficionados as a great outdoor venue for the diversity and quality of the artists that perform on its stage. Set in a family friendly atmosphere the series offers a diversity of musical genres that are not generally available free to the people of the Lancaster community.
