Mission Statement

Our Vision: Aubrey Area Library serves as a welcoming place where our diverse and dynamic community gathers to discover, share, and spark ideas. January 25, 2019 visioning team Our Mission: The Aubrey Area Library provides a friendly and inviting atmosphere for encouraging the love of reading, life-long learning, and enrichment through the full spectrum of library services. Adopted May 2016 Library Purpose statement: Our citizens wanted the library to function as a welcoming living room of the community. Patrons come to the library to use the computers for work, school and leisure; to read magazines and newspapers; to find the latest bestsellers; to find useful resources for work, school and leisure; and to participate in stimulating library programs that enhance quality of life.
