In Lealman, the toughest, and highest crime area of Pinellas County, PAL strives to create well-rounded adults through after-school and summer programs. Through mentoring, athletics, academics and food stability, PAL provides at-risk students in Lealman with the opportunities they deserve and the resources they need to succeed.

As one of the only service organizations or recreation centers in Lealman, PAL is often described as a leader in this tough community. Through youth and community programming, PAL is a safe place with engaging, positive activities to help children learn, grow, and achieve anything they set their minds to.
PAL provides a safe environment for children to go during the school year, summertime and holiday breaks. In the most underserved area in Pinellas County, PAL serves as a structured environment kids want to be in after school. In a world where they may not be where they want to be today, PAL provides them employment training and broadens their horizons to give them the tools they need to succeed not just in school, but in life.
PAL is so much more than an athletic program, we are a safe and stimulating environment, a home, and often the only sense of stability in these children's lives, and that is why at PAL we proudly state, "Success Starts Here."
