Description

Leap Year is a nonprofit organization that prepares first generation students to succeed in college and become leaders in their communities through a paid community service gap year program. We provide graduating high school students with an intensive year to build the academic skills, leadership, and confidence needed to thrive in college.Many first generation and low income students do not succeed in graduating from college because they are unprepared for the academic and social rigors of college. Leap Year is changing this by creating a generation of college educated changemakers through a community service gap year program.
