Description

Volunteer Advocates will assist the Victim Advocates in placing phone calls, providing follow-up, relaying information to victims such as court times and dates, and notifying victims of upcoming trials and outcomes. They will assist with assembling information packets for victims on topics of Domestic Violence, Bereavement, Sexual Assault and Stalking. Advocates will also assist with crisis walk-ins and crisis calls at the police department. Advocates will respond to crime scenes whenever deemed it necessary.
