THE CHALLENGE:

The college aspiration-attainment gap:

The difference between students wanting to get a degree (aspiration) and actually receiving it (attainment).

Many low-income students have high aspirations when it comes to college. However, they often don’t have the means or preparation to enroll and succeed.

WHERE WE COME IN:

Minds Matter Chicago is a highly successful three-year program that empowers accomplished high school students from low-income families to achieve college readiness and success. We do this through intensive group academic instruction, personalized mentoring and summer enrichment programs.
