Mission Statement

To provide a safe haven for at risk, low income, foster care, government assistance teens to come during school breaks and after school to help them reach their goals, build self-esteem to enhance and empower them emotionally and socially. We will help them discover their hidden talent and embrace their diversity.

Description

This organization was built on the premise that there is a need in every community for quality youth care for at risk teens ages 12-17. Many of these teens have no supervision or constructive activities to engage in during those at risk & after school or none school hours. The lack of these programs increases the likelihood of teens getting involved in at-risk activities, i.e. drugs, alcohol, teen pregnancy, truancy, and juvenile delinquency.
Our organization is designed to transform their free time from a threat to their safety and security into positive life-changing opportunities. We accomplish this through providing healthy meals, mentoring/life skills, homework assistance, and arts. We will develop their gifts and talent while providing a safe haven all year long. We’ve been in existence since 2000.
