Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina is a non-profit land trust that inspires conservation in Western North Carolina by permanently protecting land and water for the benefit of people and all living things.
We have specific management plans for each property we acquire. These plans include activities like erosion control, unnatural debri removal, invasive plant treatments, stream restoration and many more. Our Volunteers help us to accomplish these conservation goals by participating in events where they also learn new skills like plant identification and wilderness safety.
