Mission Statement

The Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry and Sandwich Window began in 1980, handing out coffee and sandwiches to patrons on our front porch. Today, our sandwich kitchen is open 6 days a week, serving an average of 125 meals a day, in addition to hundreds of special holiday meals and thousands of cups of coffee per year. We also provide hygiene kits, socks, gloves, hats and winter clothing to our guests. Volunteers include parishioners, DePaul students, faculty and staff, and others from the neighborhood.

Description

The soup kkitchen and food pantry are part of the outreach ministries of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Parish. We welcome people from all backgrounds that have a desire to share in our work to serve those in need.
