Mission Statement

Colorado Wild Athletics shall serve exclusively as an educational and charitable organization, by teaching and developing confidence, self-efficacy, and other social skills relating to positive development, in youth who may be underserved, through competitive sports.

Description

Colorado Wild Athletics (CWA) has served youth by providing opportunities to develop peer relationships, learn the merits of competition, and experience physical and mental growth through baseball and basketball team sports. The youth who have participated in these team sports refine the skills they have, and learn new skills through coaching and competition. CWA also provides opportunities for these youth to expand their perceptions of their own effectiveness and leadership in their communities by participating in volunteer opportunities that also serve their communities. Our goals involve helping youth gain confidence and learn to be competitive in sports, above their current abilities, while developing a sense of self, community, and citizenship.
