Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
URI is a global grassroots interfaith network that cultivates peace and justice by engaging people to bridge religious and cultural differences and work together for the good of their communities and the world. We implement our mission through local and global initiatives that build the capacity of our member groups and organizations, called Cooperation Circles, to engage in community action such as conflict resolution and reconciliation, environmental sustainability, education, women’s and youth programs, and advocacy for human rights.
The URI North America region, which includes Canada and the United States, is one of eight administrative regions of the global organization. The North America region supports more than 120 Cooperation Circles and Organizational Affiliates in 37 states and provinces. The North America region shares responsibility with URI Global to build and sustain an effective and active network of CCs in North America by providing enhanced connection, communication, visibility, good practice exchange and training. The region organizes face-to-face gatherings, provides a website, blog, social media channels, an e-newsletter, webinars, trainings and various support services for CCs.
