Description

RiverRidge is a short and long term care facility specializing in Brain Injury and Stroke rehabilitation, we are operated by Genesis Health Care. Recreation services has a responsibility to assure that every resident has an opportunity to participate in meaningful programs and activities that enhance their sense of well being and maintain highest practicable quality of life. Recreation services at RiverRidge consists of 1:1, small and large groups. Programs are targeted to meet specific needs, interests and preferences of the resident. Volunteer opportunities vary according to areas of expertise and interest. Volunteers will help assist residents to scheduled activities, provide assistance during programming, spend time with residents, playing cards, reading, painting nails etc.
