Mission Statement

Our mission is to foster sustainability of a creative culture in the Antelope Valley. Through use of a website hub, gallery space, and public programming, we elevate professional development of intermediate and advanced artists as well as provide a platform for collectors and art buyers to purchase locally-sourced art.

Description

Antelope Valley Art is the primary resource for artistic development in the Antelope Valley. We cultivate creativity and economic sustainability for local artists in 3 ways:

  1. AVArt.org website (an all-encompassing arts resource page, free profiles that act as a promotional platform for artists, and the only events calendar that combines all the arts and culture events in the Antelope Valley)
  2. AVA Gallery (with rotating exhibitions showcasing professional and up-and-coming contemporary artists [with a special focus on CAC residents], flexible maker-space for workshops and family-friendly activities, and a retail space featuring handmade goods from local makers)
  3. Innovative Public Programming (an ongoing affordable Professional Development series, and workshops in experimental and collaborative media)
