Boys and Girls Harbor is a private, non-profit organization serving abused, neglected and otherwise at-risk children ages 5 - 18.

Description

Boys and Girls Harbor is a long-term residential facility that is home to 70 children that are placed because of family problems, not behavior problems. It was founded in 1947 by the Downtown Optimist Club of Houston. The agency considers children without discrimination based on race, creed, religious affiliation or financial status.
