THIS GROUP NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION WAS CREATED TO GET SUPPORT AND FUNDING (WITH HELP FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENT) BEHIND THE SAN CARLOS ISLAND RESTORATION OF THE FORT MYERS BEACH ARCHES 1924-1979

Description

OUR ORGANIZATION IS A SOCIAL MEDIA FACEBOOK GROUP. WE DO THE VOLUNTEER WORK AND FUNDRAISING IN SUPPORT OF OUR RESTORATION MISSION. OUR GOAL IS TO RESTORE THE HISTORIC ICONIC ARCH OVER THE ROAD ON FORT MYERS BEACH, WE HAVE EVENTS THAT REQUIRE VOLUNTEER WORK IN SUPPORT OF THESE EVENTS, OUR GROUP HAS ALREADY DONE REJUVENATION AND RESTORATION TO THE TOM PHILLIPS STONE MONUMENT ON MAIN ST. WE DUG UP THE REMAINS OF THE ARCHES FOR 3D IMAGING DATA THIS DATA WILL HELP ENGINEERS INCORPERATE THE ORIGINAL REMAINS OF THE ARCHES IN A NEW ARCH. OUR EFFORTS WILL RETURN ARCHES TO THE LANDSCAPE OF FORT MYERS BEACH.

As President of Restore Fort Myers Beach Arches, I have had the opportunity to lead a mighty group of volunteers. Although our numbers are small our accomplishments are great. We have done so much with so little and may soon have political support we need to return the Arches to the Fort Myers Beach Landscape. It is our volunteers that make it happen. We fundraise, learn, take part, and spread the word about our organization. We have fun doing it. Help us and become a member of our crew. We call ourselves the Arches Blue Skeleton Crew because of the color of our T-Shirts and few in numbers. I am a volunteer, I do this in my spare time. ROCK THE ARCHES!
