Description

We meet weekly as a group of Believers to celebrate our God and receive an engaging, uplifting, challenging word every Sunday. Our community groups meet throughout the week and study God's Word. We love to serve others just as Jesus served. We are invested in our community and seek opportunities to better it. We participate in various community projects throughout the year local as well as internationally. We have received the Hillside Community Achievement Award the past three years.

Worship God! This is based on Hebrews 10:25 where The Lord tells us that we should continue to gather together for worship. This is the first and, while very important, most basic step in growth. This is where we look upward.

Community group! This is where leadership is developed and where community is experienced. The Community Groups are where life happens within WDCC and also where every member is able to touch and be touched to know that you are never alone. This is where we look inward.

Serve Others! Ultimately, to be like Jesus, we have to help someone else. There are always two major projects a year where the entire church is asked to help serve the community together. Each member, however, is asked to be of service to people outside of our church. The cliché is true: Love is not love until you give it away! This is where we look outward.
