Swan Songs was founded by local musician Christine Albert and her friend, Gaea Logan, with the goal of providing a musical experience for people with terminal illness or nearing end of life and their loved ones.

At no cost to the family, a favorite style of music or regional musician is brought directly to the home or care facility. Committed to supporting live music in the community, Swan Songs compensates its musicians for each performance. Each concert is attended by a volunteer liaison, who helps make sure that things go smoothly and that the experience is a good one for all involved. Swan Songs has provided nearly 1000 concerts since it's inception.
