The mission of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Tenth Judicial Circuit is to ensure that every abused and neglected child is placed in a safe and permanent home by utilizing specially trained community volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children going through the court system.
CourtAppointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Peoria County is a non-profit that has been serving Peoria County since 2005. In 2018 CASA expanded its' service area to Tazewell, Marshall, Putnam and Stark Counties and the name was changed to CASA of The Tenth Judicial Circuit. CASA volunteers provide consistency to the children on their case, submit reports to the judge prior to all court hearings and make certain that the child's best interests are represented. CASA's currently represent over 400 abused and neglected children in the Tenth Judicial Circuit. Additional volunteers are needed to serve even more children in need of a consistent presence during their most vulnerable time. We need you!
