To Protect those citizens who are vulnerable because of age, sex or disability, from abuse and neglect. To maximize independence and decrease dependence of those citizens we serve in the most natural and least restrictive setting. To prevent neglect, abuse, individual and family dysfunction, illness and disability. To promote healthy, independent productive lifestyles. To manage public funds allocated for human services in a prudent and responsive manner.

Description

Volunteer DRIVERS provide rides to and from child visitations, groups and other appointments. Mileage is reimbursed. Drivers choose what rides they would like to do. Local as well as out of town visits are available.

SUPERVISED VISIT volunteers provide a safe environment for children in foster care to visit with their parents. Most visits happen in the DHHS visitation rooms. Volunteer chooses the hours/cases they would like to volunteer with.

Volunteer GUARDIANS is a court appointed advocate for a person who has been found incompetent to make decisions for themselves. Guardian of estate and/or person are both needed.
