Mission Statement

The Arc of Luzerne County serves to assist intellectually, developmentally, and physically disabled people. -- helping them live the life they deserve by providing the support they need.

Description

The ARC of Luzerne County has three major projects it undertakes at the moment: the TRACE (Transition to Community Employment) Program, the IM4Q Program (Independent Monitoring for Quality) and advocacy for individuals, families and for those with disabilities as a collective.

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to:

1) help plan a fun fundraising event at PNC field
2) organize and promote recreational and community service activities for our clients.
3) represent The Arc at community events and fundraisers.
4) help develop a "Friends of the Arc" volunteer organization.
