Mission Statement

Solutionary Events is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit educational outreach organization with a mission to create a healthy, compassionate, and environmentally regenerative world through coordinating socially responsible vegan events all throughout the state of Florida and beyond. The organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers with professional experience leading events such as festivals & fairs, races & walks, film screenings, beach & park cleanups, school programs, summer camps, and workshops, and other outreach events.


Veg Fest is an educational celebration of health, environmental regeneration, and compassion for people and animals. There are a growing number of festivals happening across the world in answer to increased popularity for healthy plant-based foods, cruelty-free products, and a continuing need for community education about the benefits of a vegan choices. Florida holds Veg Fests in numerous cities including Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, Orlando, Bonita Springs, West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Gainesville, and Space Coast. And our team at Solutionary Events wanted Sarasota to have its own Veg Fest!
Sarasota's inaugural Veg Fest, held on Saturday, May 5th of 2018 was a tremendous success, thanks to the support and enthusiasm from the Sarasota community. We welcomed over 16,000 people to the event! With continued support from the Sarasota and Manatee community, we look forward to Sarasota Veg Fest becomming bigger and better every year. The festival features local & nationally renowned speakers, live music and entertainment, food preparation, demonstrations, yoga and fitness classes, dance lessons, vegan food vendors, restaurant booths, animal rescues, artists, veggie education kids zone, rock climbing wall, factory farm experience, and much more! The event is FREE and open to the public.

The 2nd. annual Sarasota Veg Fest will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The festival will be held from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Sarasota Fairgrounds. 3000 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota, Fl 34237
