Mission Statement

The mission goal of Adorable Baby’s "Jump Start" (ABJS) is to provide a unique caring learning environment for children ages 06 to 18 years old. In this enhanced experience, each child will be individually assessed and then supported in his intellectual, social-emotional, mental, and physical growth. As partners of ABJS, parents, and guardians) are encouraged to participate in the development and education of the child. The ABJS focus of service is embracing the welfare and needs of these children in its effort to reduce poverty.

The ABJS program is committed to preparing young children for real life experiences through active learning. The emphasis is to enhance the children’s mental, physical and emotional development that is appropriate for each age group in preparation for kindergarten. The program’s focus is on teaching children communication skills and concepts such as recognizing colors and identifying shapes. With a special understanding of children’s behaviors, the teachers introduce the children to music, dancing, playing instruments, singing, listening, and sensory motor skills, among the many skills that are needed for the school classroom. To support the central curriculum, ABJS provides before-after school tutoring, parenting classes, parent intervention and resources and referrals for extra assistance.
