Charter Hospice

Mission Statement

Charter Hospice is looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers to provide companionship to our terminally ill patients. Volunteers will make friendly visits to patients and help them in their daily lives by reading to them, playing music, running errands, relieving family members who need a rest, or visiting a patient who lives in a care facility. If your traveling capabilities are limited you can also assist with calling bereaved family members who need a listening ear to talk to . Volunteer visits and phone calls make such a big impact and truly enrich the lives of our patients and their loved ones. Training on what to expect and basic procedure is provided by our friendly staff so you can feel confident and prepared before going on any visits. Only a clean record and caring attitude is required.
