412 Food Rescue fights food waste and nutrition insecurity by saving fresh, nourishing food from getting wasted and delivering it to our non-profit partners who serve our Pittsburgh neighbors in need.

Description

We rescue perfectly good surplus food and deliver it to community organizations throughout Western PA. Our volunteers - Food Rescue Heroes -- make all of the pick ups and drop offs. 70 million pounds so far! Just download and register our app to get started.

Using the 412 Food Rescue app is so easy to follow! And in just 30 minutes, I was able to pick up and drop off fresh food to a local non-profit that serves my neighbors facing food insecurity. That just made my day. I love saving food from getting wasted! Feels so good to be a #FoodRescueHero :)
