During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Our mission is to provide children who suffer from the trauma of living with addiction and children who suffer from grief due to a substance passing with a safe place to find the strength to cope and build a strong, healthy foundation to heal. Our task is to raise funds through charitable donations and fundraising events to provide these children/families with a safe place for growth and healing in the wake of a loss due to addiction. Our goal is to help them understand and work through the confusing and conflicting emotions that go along with an overdose death and/or the trauma of living with addiction in their daily lives.
The Christopher Robert Foundation is a nonprofit that provides peer support groups, age appropriate addiction education and various free activites to get children active and help them cope. The children we serve are kids that have lost a loved one due to addiction or have lived with addiction in their daily lives. Our goal is to open a center that combines the activities, peer support and education groups with free individual counseling for both kids and their families. An outreach/emergency crisis program is being developed which will provide families with immediate assistance for the children involved if there is a DCP&P call for substance abuse or a 911 call for an overdose.
