The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
The Alzheimer’s Association - Alabama Chapter is the premier source of information and support for Alabamians living with dementia and their families and caregivers. Through its statewide network of offices, the Alzheimer’s Association offers a broad range of programs and services, including a 24-hour Helpline, at no cost to families; funds advancements in research to prevent, treat and eventually conquer this disease; and advocates on behalf of Alabamians on related legislative issues, and with health and long-term care providers.
