PIVOT Job Corps is a federally funded, non-residential program/scholarship that help young people ages 16-24 obtain their high school diploma, GED and technical training in Medical Office Support and Office Administration. We are the satellite center of Springdale Job Corps, which is both residential and non-residential and offers other programs such as Pharmacy Technician, Auto Body Repair, CNA, Office Administration and Protective Services.

Working with these students is great! They were hard working and willing to learn. I visited once, cleared a background check, and then was able to come in for a couple of hours per week to work with the students on reading and math.

Never got to volunteer as application/background check process took too long, and I ended up volunteering at other places. Hope they can make the process faster for others.
