Looking for something to fill your afternoons? We are looking for volunteers to help take patients that are done with surgery and wheel them out to the front of our building. Great opportunity to interact with physicians and nurses. Also, great opportunity to provide assistance!

Are you an early bird? We are looking for volunteers to help our patients who are undergoing surgery. This volunteer will walk around to our patients and checking to see if they need to use the restroom before surgery. This volunteer will walk them to the restroom, wait for them, and then walk them back to their bay. This volunteer will NOT be responsible for hooking or unhooking of any medical equipment.

This volunteer role you will welcome and greet patients and visitors, help with wheelchair transports, find and gather wheelchairs to be placed at the entrances, and provide wayfinding assistance and directional support. It's a large hospital and people get turned around easily. Our volunteers will help ensure they get to where they need to go.

Are you an early riser? Like a 6am early riser? We are actively looking for volunteers to fill our need from 6am - 9am during the week. This volunteer will help to assist check in patients for surgery, page the family when the doctor wants to speak with them, walk famlies and loved ones up to see the patient, help secure patient belongings, offer coffee and water to those waiting, among others. Great opportunity to see the interworkings of a surgery department. Great for college students or adults.

Are you a people person? We are looking for a volunteer to fill our newly created role of Patient Assistant! You will be at our Registration window, after a patient gets registered, the volunteer will then walk them up to our Endoscopic area. Also, this volunteer, when the patient is done with their procedure, will go up to the area and walk them out of the building. You'll work alongside many medical professionals. Great opportunity for college students or retirees!
