Mission Statement
Refugee Education, Acculturation, Communication and Health (REACH) is a non-profit, and social services organization established with a mission to assist refugees with resettlement and integration into the community. Being headquartered in Sacramento, REACH has extended past experience in health education, mentoring services and civic integration as well as alleviating the suffering of refugees and immigrants and to address their post-traumatic problems through psycho-social services, and clinical counseling.
Description
REACH is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization since June 20th, 2016 and since then provides services to newly arriving refugees in the Greater Sacramento Metropolitan Area.
REACH has engaged in collaborative work with numerous local refugee resettlement agencies, refugee community-based organizations and other stakeholders and media. Over the past few years. REACH has helped hundreds of people by donating hours of free psychological counseling to traumatized refugees and reached out to hundreds of newly arriving immigrants families and helped them with the donation of home appliances, furniture, cloths, blankets, diapers, car seat and fresh food.
