Mission Statement

We bring nature’s healing and well-being to seniors, the disabled, veterans and youth. Let’s Go Fishing liberates people from isolation, loneliness and depression - by giving them boating and fishing trips, at no charge. Our specially designed pontoon boat is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to 12 passengers.

Description

Let’s Go Fishing- Menomonie Area Inc was brought to Menomonie Wisconsin in 2018. During that season, we had 27 trips and 167 guests on our boat. Our guests ages range from 4 to 94 and 18 of our guests were veterans. We work with groups such as The Bridge to Hope, The Neighbors of Dunn County and Dove Health Care. Our boat service includes fishing trips, or just cruises around Lake Menomin. Healthier and happier people are the result.

Let’s Go Fishing began in Willmar, Minnesota in 2002. Founder Joe Holm shared with his wife Carolyn, his dream to help enrich the lives of senior citizens. Since then, Let’s Go Fishing has served over 175,000 guests in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
