The goal of Saving Sadie is to educate children through school programs and other outreach opportunities to embrace their uniqueness and by doing so, combat bullying. Saving Sadie is also focused on using Sadie's story to prevent animal cruelty through education. We use various books as part of our literary outreach in our various programs. Saving Sadie Inc. donates fund to groups who are combating bullying in our schools and combating animal cruelty by educating the public in positive, productive, ways.
Saving Sadie, Inc. is an organization that makes presentations across the United States with the anti-bullying message. Sadie is also an advocate for those with special needs because Sadie has special needs too. Her amazing story of survival inspires many of those struggling with difficult issues in their lives. Sadie says "Think about what you CAN do and not what you CAN'T do, just like me!" Sadie's life story, "Saving Sadie, How a Dog that No One Wanted Inspired the World" is published by Kensington of New York and is also available in English and Spanish. After 11 months, it was already into its fourth printing. Sadie the dog was found in the mountains of Kentucky with a bullet between her eyes and one in her back, put there after having yet another litter of puppies. Kind people found her and through a series of events, she was transported to a no-kill shelter in Wisconsin where I was donating blankets.
She is known in 60 countries and has a children's book,' Sadie and the Superstars" which is available in English and Spanish. After 11 months, it was already into its fourth printing.
