Description

We teach children how to navigate safely in the kitchen. We believe that mastery and autonomy are essential human needs. The life skills of being able to feed oneself, and manage money are crucial to becoming happy healthy adults.
In our classes, students learn knife skills, how to prevent cross contamination, identification of fruits and vegetables, how to build a menu, and much more.
Taught by professional chefs, and guided by caring classroom volunteers, our students are learning how cooking can be a joyous community endeavor.
