BARKSDALE GROUP TRANSITIONAL SERVICES INC

Description

The Barksdale Group was created in 2015 to provide veterans with housing. While we worked on securing start up funding we provided holiday cards and care packages to active duty service personnel. We conducted a clothes drive and on 1/19/19 we will distribute Mylar blankets and care packages to those individuals that find themselves homeless during the brutal winter months. We have secured some start up funding and are currently in the process of finding a multi family dwelling to provide housing. We will also work to provide specially equipped locations for injured veterans as needed. Our ultimate goal is to expand our organization to include supportive and transitional housing locations as well. We ultimately want to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for us.
