Our mission is to empower vulnerable youth to reach their fullest potential while becoming leaders within their community.

Description

Youth Rising is an inclusive youth-led, youth-driven non-profit organization for teens aged 11-18. At Youth Rising, we offer volunteer hours, leadership opportunities, employability skills, and we have a drop-in center that teens consider a safe haven after school and during the summer.


We connect the teens with trusted peer advocates and we offer a variety of clubs, tutoring, and positive activities. We empower the youth to reach their fullest potential while being productive citizens within our community.


We are looking to recruit volunteers to connect and interact with our teens between 3:30-6: 00 pm Monday-Friday. A volunteer would come in and hang out with the teens while acting as a positive role model, or teach the teens a new skill (art, changing a tire, woodwork, etc).


Even one hour a month helps.
