SERES cultivates and catalyzes youth leaders to create just and sustainable communities in Central America. We inspire and affirm young people to contribute to the enrichment of their communities, fulfill potential, create positive relationships, and become engaged citizens.

SERES is a registered Guatemalan not-for-profit association. We have fiscal partners with not-for-profit organizations in the U.S. and Australia. For more information visit www.seres.org/ .

SERES was founded in 2009. The organization is led by a dedicated, diverse and experienced team that comprises the Executive Director, Board of Directors and Advisory Committee and brings together local and international experience in sustainable development, personal empowerment, education, leadership and appropriate technology. Our commitment is first and foremost to the communities, individuals, youth and children in the communities that we work in. Since inception, we have always held as the highest priority the need to listen to the unique set of challenges, needs and circumstances of each community.
