PRECIOUS PETS ADOPTION LEAGUE

Since Precious Pets Adoption League was founded in 2004, we have been dedicated to rescuing homeless, stray and neglected dogs and cats, and caring for them in foster homes until we can find a good forever home for them. Between 2004 and the present, we have rescued many hundreds of dogs and cats that were stray, in animal control shelters where they were going to be euthanized, rescued from bad situations, or given up by owners who were going to drop off their animals at an animal control or other high kill shelter. Some of the dogs and cats we rescued had suffered terrible abuse, but many of them were the victims of simple neglect or abandoned to fend for themselves. With cats in particular, some people mistakenly believe that their house cats will have no problem fending for themselves outside after living months or years primarily or exclusively indoors. We even took in numerous cats from the outside who were declawed--which means they were virtually defenseless. Especially when the home foreclosure crisis hit in 2008, we rescued dogs and cats that were simply abandoned when their owners moved away.
