Each opportunity is matched to the Volunteers location and schedule. Minimum of two visits per month can make a significant difference and be the start of a wonderful friendship. We are currently following all current CDC guidelines regarding COVID19. Friendly visits from a Hospice Volunteer may include but are not limited to, sitting with a patient while a family member runs an errand, reading, crafts, helping with lite housekeeping, yard work, simple conversation, running an errand for a patient, or any skill or hobby you believe can positively add value to their moments. If you have the desire to bring some love and light into the heart and home of a Hospice patient and their family, you can make a significant impact here at Providence Care.

Volunteer Hair Stylists interested in providing occasional hair care services for home bound Hospice patients in and around Rock Hill SC and surrounding areas of York County Making the most of the moments....that's part of our mission here at Providence Care. Our Hair Care Volunteers are no exception in doing just that! Something as simple as a haircut and style, truly adds to the quality of life of our home bound Hospice patients. If you are a licensed hair stylist, whether active or retired, and you have some extra time to spare each month and seeking a rewarding experience, we'd love for you to join our team. Every patient visit is accompanied by the Providence care Volunteer Coordinator.

Supplies come in every day, so we are seeking a reliable individual(s) who would come in once a week for approximately 1-2 hours. This opportunity is a great support to our nurses and CNA's visiting our hospice patients.

Rock Hill, South Carolina Providence Care Administrative Volunteers lend incredible support to our team in a variety of ways that ensure we are offering our patients and families the best quality care. We are welcoming Volunteers to complete weekly patient survey calls here in our Rock Hill location in an effort to enhance the nature of our patient's care in the most compassionate way. As a premium Hospice care provider, we want to assist our patient's and families to meet their immediate needs through ongoing communication and relationship. Survey calls require a two week "check in" with newly admitted patients and/or family members in an effort to address any concerns or questions regarding their care so we can address them immediately and efficiently. We are seeking a compassionate individual with strong communication/phone skills, friendly personality, and is comfortable with the potential opportunity to provide a listening ear and friendly word of comfort to those who may need a little extra time to express the emotions surrounding such a difficult time. We are where they are, and its our mission to serve our patients physically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. Hospice is an all-encompassing approach to life care rather than just health care. We are following all CDC guidelines for COVID 19.
