Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote the wellness of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, substance use, and/or Juvenile Justice involved youth and their families, including those traditionally underserved, by enhancing the strategic partnerships within the network of the Family Support Organizations (FSOs) and other family support organizations in New Jersey.

Description

The NJ Alliance of Family Support provides leadership and support to the statewide network of Family Support Organizations that represent families raising children with emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges. Aspects of our work supporting the Family Movement include: Empowerment, Outreach, Providing Forums, Providing Referral/Resources, Organizing Conferences, Providing Technical Assistance and Training, Effecting Systemic Change and making local, state and national connections.
